90225. We are recruiting 4 x middle grade doctors with experience of A&E (accident and emergency), Emergency Medicine or Acute Medicine for a hospital in southern England. The job is long term with the initial contract being for 12 months. However, the hospital is looking for doctors who are interested in working for them for 2 to 3 years. Successful candidates are likely to receive the following benefits (to be confirmed): a) NHS salary scaled to take account of their experience – this will be the same pay rate as other doctors of the same level within the hospital. Typically, this’ll be in the range £50,000 to £62,500 per annum. b) Financial help with moving to the UK c) Free accommodation for the first few months / 6 months d) Personal training budget to allow individual training to be set up e) Senior consultant as mentor to assist with settling in / induction / getting to understand the way the NHS works Candidates, both from inside the EU and beyond will be considered – though you will need to hold either full GMC registration or be able to get it quickly (for non-EU applicants this means you will need to already have MRCP and IELTS). If you are new to the UK, you should already be at registrar level or above in your home country in one of the following specialties: A&E, Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, Trauma & Orthopaedics or General Surgery. If you are already working in the UK at either SHO or middle grade level in A&E or Acute medicine, our client would particularly like to talk to you. The post consists of twelve sessions, including late shifts and night shifts plus one session for CPD. The rota also includes one in three weekends. The post-holder will also be responsible for overseeing the work of junior doctors in the department, ensuring an acceptable standard of practise is maintained. The hospital is in a market town in the south of England and it has a good local reputation for providing excellent healthcare. The hospital has single accommodation available for its doctors. The hospital has a structured induction and development programme for new recruits and they pride themselves on looking after doctors who are newly arrived in the UK. General Information: This post is open to doctors who have limited or no experience in the UK as well as doctors currently in a post in the UK. If you are new to the UK, this job will give you an excellent opportunity to establish your clinical career in the NHS. Our client will employ you full time on a fixed term contract and they will offer you considerable support, training and professional development. Salaries are at standard NHS rates with supplements, meaning you will receive the same pay as other doctors at a similar level employed by the hospital.
