Anaesthetics – Specialty Doctor – central southern England

Reference No: 90032
Specialty: Anaesthetics
Grade: Specialty Doctor
Location: central southern England
Length of post: 6 months +
Description:

Long term post available from as soon as possible with well respected large NHS trust in the central sourthern part of England. The location gives easy access to UK airports and London. Excellent training, conditions and pay. Potential for on-going work.

General information:

This post is open to doctors who have not worked in the UK before as well as doctors currently in a post in the UK.

If you are new to the UK, this job will give you an excellent opportunity to establish your clinical career in the NHS. Our client will employ you full time on a fixed term contract and they will offer you considerable support, training and professional development – particularly if you have limited or no prior experience of working in the NHS.

Salaries are at standard NHS rates with supplements, meaning you will receive the same pay as other doctors at a similar level employed by the hospital. We can give you a guide as to the likely salary but the actual amount they will offer you will be decided after the interview and will be based on the specialty, your experience and local employment conditions.  Assistance is usually available for travel and accommodation for when you start work. Contract lengths vary between 3 months and 6 -12 months. However for the shorter contracts, it is often possible to sign for a further period or turn the post into a permanent job.

All doctors need to have full GMC registration before the hospital will interview you. You will also need fluent English. Please see Candidates page for more information on GMC registration and English language requirements.  Our clients are recognised by the GMC as Approved Practice Settings and so can support doctors who have recently received full GMC registration.
