When completing your CV, please include as much information as possible on your recent clinical work.
Typically, you should include the following:
Brief description of the hospital facility you work in (location, size in terms of beds, whether acute or elective or rehab, whether major hospital or district general, whether teaching or not) specialties covered)
Size of department you work in, sub-specialities within the department)
Types of patient and their main symptoms (eg describe the types of work undertaken in the department).
This should include a typical example of the numbers of patients you see each day and whether this is in an outpatient clinic or in-patient ward.
Types of treatment / operations etc you are familiar with and approximate numbers of each in the recent past (last 6 or 12 months)
Responsibility level (eg what numbers of procedures / operations have you dealt with unsupervised etc, whether you supervise more junior doctors, at what point do you refer to a more senior colleague)
Any specialist areas of work.
