| Description: |
Consultant ENT specialist required for a polyclinic in the North West of England. This post is with a mobile clinical assessment unit. The objective is to provide additional specialised primrary healthcare to NHS patients, thus reducing local waiting lists. The clinics are open 12 hours per day / 7 days per week and so there are opportunities for both part time and full time jobs. Part time work is paid by each 4 hour session (minimum of 2 per week). Full time is salaried. The scope of work will include paper clinical triage of referrals from General Practitioners, face to face clinical assessment of patients, treatment planning and onwards referral to secondary care if indicated. Minor procedures suitable for an out patient clean room environment as per HCC guidance will be performed.This may include for example: Pharyngoscopy & Micro-suction of ears.
