We are recruiting a senior doctor in General/Internal Medicine for a private hospital group in Shanghai, China. The working language is English.

Doctors need to have a UK, Canadian, Australian or USA background and at least 4 years of experience as a specialist. The contract is for 2 years (minimum). The client has two hospital clinics in Shanghai. Both offer a range of services and have modern, well developed facilities.

Pudong, Shangjhai

General Information: Shanghai in China is the largest city in the world with 23 million people. It has grown hugely over the past 20 years and it is now the pre-eminent business city in Asia.

Most major western companies have a presence here with large numbers of ex-pats. As well as being a business city, Shanghai is a major tourist resort, with the Bund, City God Temple, Yuyuan Garden and the Pudong skyline.  It is to these groups of people that our client offers medical services via two clinics in the city.

The  clinics are “full-service” offering medical, dental and therapists. The work is varied and this is a wonderful opportunity to experience life in modern China. All of the clinics work in English and there is no need to learn Mandarin.
