Reference No: 90005
Specialty: Radiology
Grade: Consultant
Location: Across the UK
Length of post: Short or long term
Description:

Our client is a premier, well established teleradiology company based in the UK. It is expanding and looking for keen radiologists to join their existing high quality  team. The company is clinician-led with a focus on maintaining standards through quality assurance. They have a mix of NHS and private clients, reporting musculoskeletal, neuro and torso imaging, with a focus on MRI and CT.

These vacancies offer an excellent opportunity to become involved in the forefront of today’s rapidly changing radiology services. In addition to using existing radiology skills, successful applicants will gain training & experience in teleradiology and work with state-of-the-art IT systems.

Candidates should have significant MRI experience (3 – 5 years, at least 2 subspecialist sessions per week) and should be available for 2 – 3 sessions per week, with permission for this work obtained from any ongoing employer.

In general, candidates should have:

*        2 – 5 years’ MR experience and, for MSK work, should be comfortable with reporting all joints. For abdomen or neuro reporting, candidates should have good general experience in these areas.

*         Candidates must have full radiology specialist GMC registration (or be able to obtain this within a short timeframe).

*          Non-native English-speaking candidates should be of a fluency equivalent to 7.0 or greater in academic IELTS.

Pay will be dependent on experience and reporting skills and based on a competitive per-report basis.

Our client is also keen to find doctors who are looking for full time work  and are willing to move to my client’s premises.  Candidates for these posts should have 2 years or more radiology experience at consultant level, and be keen to develop their remote reporting skills. Experience in subspecialist MRI and CT reporting would be an advantage.
