We have several vacancies for SHO level doctors to work in private hospitals as RMOs.
These posts are for SHO level doctors and they are based in private hospitals which undertake elective orthopaedic and general surgery. The work is to carry out pre-op checks, post-op care and be available in the event of a medical emergency as the first on-call doctor. You will normally stay within the hospital during your rota, typically for 1 or 2 weeks. During this time, there is a normal working day from around 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday. Outside of these times, you’ll be on-call in case of emergency. These posts give good experience of working in the UK and opportunities for longer term jobs.
These posts require you to have successfully completed ALS and EPLS life saving courses. Our client will help you to arrange these if you haven’t taken them yet.
We can give you a guide as to the likely salary but the actual amount they will offer you will be decided after the interview. All doctors need to have full GMC registration and fluent English. Please see Candidates page for more information.
